Terms & Conditions

Booking Onto A Class

When booking you have the option to either book onto the whole term at a discounted rate or as PAYG for each class. If you decide to book onto your first class in week 5, your booking will automatically be cancelled and a refund will be given. This final week is reserved directly for those that have attended previous weeks.

All bookings for classes need to be made the day before class at 9pm at the very latest so I can prepare packs, handouts and other equipment in enough time. If the booking is made after 9pm the day before class or on the day of class, I have the right to cancel your booking and a transfer of class or full refund (excluding booking card transaction fee) will be given, if this happens you will be notified.

After Booking Your Class – Consent Form

After booking your class you will be sent a consent form to complete. This will be sent via WhatsApp or text (unless requested by another means of contact). The consent form will need completing no later than 48 hours before your first class starts. A consent form needs signing at the beginning of each term unless you are re-doing the term then I will carry the previous consent form over. If anything has changed since the previous consent form was completed, it is your responsibility to let Georgia know before the new term starts.

The consent form requires information regarding contact details, relevant health conditions, allergies, consent to the class and waiver regarding claims made. It is important this form is completed to ensure classes are kept safe for everybody. If booking has been made but if there is refusal or late entry of consent form, this will mean you are unable to attend classes at Baby Bubble Club and you will be refunded.

Photography & Privacy In Class

Photos taken during class by yourself, should only include your baby and not any class materials and other parents/babies. When a mum is breastfeeding, expressing or changing their baby’s nappy, photos should NOT be taking place at all – privacy should be respected at all times to ensure everyone feels safe and relaxed.

  • Occasionally I (Georgia) will be taking photos during class. I will ALWAYS seek permission from each parent in class before the first class starts. If you are happy for photos to be taken, you will be required to sign the photo consent form in class. If you’d rather I cover your child’s face with an emoji before creating adverts/social media posts this is absolutely fine, just specify this on the photo consent form when signing.

  • All photos taken, may be used for publicising Baby Bubble Club (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, leaflets, magazines etc.) as this is a small business publicising is important.

  • If you would like copies of any photos I (Georgia) have taken of you or your baby, these can be sent to you via WhatsApp or email.

  • Photos will never be sent or used for any other reason than for what has been stated. Photos will never be sold but will remain the ownership of Baby Bubble Club and therefore should not be saved/distributed (unless it is of your own baby).

  • If you refuse photos taken of you and your baby, this decision will be respected at all times and you will not be asked again. Occasionally when taking photos of other mums and babies you may unintentionally end up in the background of a photo, if this occurs you and your baby will be edited out immediately but I will always do my best to avoid that happening in the first place.

  • If at a later date you’d like photos deleted of you and your baby, please let myself (Georgia) know and this can done. This will also stop all future advertisements/social media posts being made with your photo(s), however, any existing advertisements/social media posts may still be used.

If any baby is nappy-free for whatever reason (nappy changing included), NO photos are to be taken by anyone in class.

Occasionally at venues they will have CCTV within the building/room the class is being held. Copies of their privacy policy must be requested directly with the venue.

Baby Weighing Scales

In Dreamy Bubbles you will have the ability to weigh your baby should you wish to at the end of class. The scales will be available in class on weeks 1, 3 & 5. If you do intend on weighing your baby I am fine for you to choose whether you weigh your baby naked or in just a nappy, all I ask is that you bring your own muslin or blanket (you should NOT use the Baby Bubble Club baby massage towels) to use on the scales and to sanitise after use (sanitising wipes are available to use).

Here’s how to use the baby scales:

  1. Undress your baby ready

  2. Place muslin or blanket on the scales

  3. Turn on the scales and ensure it is set to zero and the correct mass unit is set e.g. lbs or kgs

  4. Place your baby on the scales and wait a few seconds for the measurement to settle

  5. Turn off the scales

  6. Remove your baby and the muslin/blanket

  7. Wipe down the scales with an antibacterial wipe which is located next to the scales

  8. Feel free to record your baby’s weight in their red book. Proceed to dress your baby on the massage mat provided (if your baby is naked or you intend on changing their nappy, please ensure your travel nappy mat is placed on top of my mat to help keep the massage mats sanitary – massage mats are sanitised at the end of each class).

Baby Bubble Club are not liable for any incorrect weight readings and cannot offer any medical advice. If you have concerns regarding infant feeding, your baby’s weight, breastfeeding, or your baby’s general health, please contact your midwife/health visitor/GP for advice. You are responsible for weighing your own baby and any accidents/injuries occurred when weighing your baby, Baby Bubble Club are not liable for.

Sickness & Ill Health

If you or your baby have any contagious illnesses such as sickness, diarrhoea, COVID, chicken pox, impetigo, tonsillitis, hand-foot & mouth etc. I request that you DO NOT attend any classes until you and your baby are well again. If you are unsure if you are allowed to attend, then please don’t hesitate to get in contact with myself (Georgia) before class. If you have recently had a case of sickness, diarrhoea or COVID, you cannot attend class until 48hrs after your last case/symptom to prevent you contaminating others.

If you attend class and you or your baby appear unwell, you will be asked to leave class and no refunds will be given as class has started.

If you or your baby are displaying COVID symptoms, I request that you don’t attend classes until your well again (at least 48 hours after last symptoms of COVID and until two consecutive negative lateral flow tests have been taken). Please also follow the government on any latest guidance regarding COVID and isolation requirements.  https://www.gov.uk/coronavirus

It is important that I keep classes as safe as possible, as not all babies will have received their vaccines and they are vulnerable little beings. I’m sure mums also don’t want to be in a position where they could potentially pick up something and become unwell themselves. I hope you all understand why I have requested these rules.

If a class is cancelled from yourself, you will be offered a date of a new class on the following term (if there is space available). You only qualify for a reschedule if:

  • You notify Georgia you will not be attending class at least 3 hours before class starts, via; text message, phone call or WhatsApp message.

  • You are cancelling due to sickness in either yourself, your baby, or another child in your household. Cancelling due to transport issues, alternative plans etc. will not qualify for a re-schedule.

Note: If you cancelling due to sickness and are wanting to attend an alternative class, then please let me know and I will do my best to find space in a class for the following term but this may not always be possible if the term is already fully booked.

If You Are Requiring A Full Refund

If you book onto a term of classes but decide to cancel for whatever reason, you will be entitled to a full refund excluding the booking fee if Georgia is notified before that term starts.

Sometimes plans can alter or you may decide you want to wait until the following term before starting baby massage or baby signing, whatever the reason it’s okay to cancel! Just get in contact with your full name and what class and term you enrolled onto, and I will cancel this for you, and you will receive a full refund excluding booking the fee back into your bank account.

If You Are Wanting To Swap Classes

If you just want to change what term or class you have booked onto, simply get in contact with Georgia before the term starts with your full name and I can change this over for you (availability dependant).

Cancellation Of Classes

If you have booked onto a class and I (Georgia) cancel that class due to sickness/personal reasons/car trouble etc. you will automatically be offered a like-for-like class on a different date (free of charge), or a full refund of that class. If the cancellation is caused by anything out of my control such as an act of God (extreme weather, natural disaster etc), or the venue is unable to facilitate the class, or the road is closed or there has been an accident/incident on the road by the venue causing severe delays, the list is endless. I will be in contact and I will do my best to try and move the class to another date free of charge but this isn’t always guaranteed and I will be unable to offer a refund. Any cancellations will be given in as much notice as possible but as a working mum myself, this may not always be possible, and some cancellations may be last minute.

Award Certificates

On the last week of term (usually week 5), in Dreamy Bubbles you will carry out a full body massage on your baby and in Wonder Bubbles you will cover a variety of signs learnt over the term. At the end of class, you may be entitled to an awards certificate for you and your baby to keep. These make a lovely keepsake and reminder of what you have both achieved.

The different types of certificates are earnt by:

  • Gold Award – By attending all 5 classes during that term.

  • Silver Award – By attending 4 classes during that term (doesn’t have to be consecutive dates, just the same term).

  • Bronze Award – By attending 3 classes during that term (doesn’t have to be consecutive dates, just the same term).

Unfortunately, if you attend one or two classes during that term, you will not qualify for a certificate. If you are absent due to sickness unfortunately that will affect your chances of achieving your award certificate. If class is cancelled by myself (Georgia) and you attend the alternative date, you will still be entitled to your certificate.

Certificates have no value and are not an official qualification, they are merely a keepsake of you and your baby’s achievement.

Booking Future Classes

When classes have finished in your current term, it can feel sad not having the class in your diary for Dreamy, Wonder, or Discovery Bubbles anymore. Nevertheless, just because you have completed a term with us, this doesn’t mean you have to stop classes with us. Baby and toddler classes with us don't need to have an end date and if you choose to, you can attend as many classes as you’d like.

Prices

All prices displayed are in pounds sterling and include any taxes and booking fee, this means it covers the card transaction fee. If you are wanting to avoid the extra fee (approx. 0.80p), then you can pay via bank transfer (please get in contact with Georgia for further info.)

You may notice prices may differ between different venues in different towns, this is due to adding in the extra cost of fuel, venue hire etc.
